In spring 2027, Porvoon Kodit’s new state-subsidised rental housing development will be completed on Opistokuja in Näsi. Close to the centre of Porvoo, the development will offer spacious family homes, shared facilities that make everyday life easier and a pleasant communal courtyard for the entire block.
At Opistokuja, everything is close by! Schools, day-care centres, a grocery store, the Art Factory, and health and medical services are all just around the corner. There will be 38 homes in two buildings, with options for a variety of life situations – from compact one-bedroom apartments to larger family homes.
Residents will have access to shared facilities that make everyday life easier, including a communal sauna with a comfortable club room, a spacious laundry room with drying facilities, and shared remote-work and multipurpose spaces. Glazed balconies provide extra space and comfort throughout the year. The communal courtyard offers a safe place for children to play and space for neighbours to meet. Electric vehicles can be charged at every parking space.
The application period for the development is 29.9.-18.10.2026, after which applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis. Successful applicants will be notified by 31 January 2027 at the latest. Please note that we do not provide interim updates on tenant selection.
Applications for Porvoon Kodit rental homes must always be submitted using a housing application. Applications should primarily be submitted using the online form or, if necessary, a paper form. Complete your application carefully and describe your housing needs in detail.
