Porvoon Kodit has over 2,300 rental flats, with about 350 flats becoming available for rent each year. The majority of these are reasonably priced, government-subsidised rental flats.

Resident selection is based on individual need, and we aim to offer flats to those with the greatest need, giving priority to applicants whose housing needs are most urgent, with the lowest incomes and least financial resources. The selection process follows the guidelines of the Resident Selection Guide from the Centre for Government-Supported Housing Construction (Varke).

Resident selection is carried out continuously as flats become available, and flats are offered to those applicants with the most pressing housing needs on the basis of the criteria mentioned above. Unsubsidised flats do not have such restrictions.
